The brief

EY’s Trivandrum office was planned as a large-scale corporate workplace meeting the standards of a global professional-services firm. Efficient workplace planning, contemporary detailing, durable finishes and integrated building services combine in a productive, comfortable environment delivered to the firm’s own specification.

Scope of Work

Dieline executed complete civil, interior and electrical works for the 45,000 sq ft office, including civil works, flooring and wall finishes, false and feature ceilings, gypsum and glass partitions, wall panelling, carpentry and bespoke joinery, workstations and fixed furniture, doors and hardware, painting and decorative finishes, internal electrical works, power distribution, lighting, switches and associated installations. Material procurement, shop drawings, coordination with the client and consultant, testing and commissioning, quality control, snag rectification and handover were managed by Dieline.

Closing statement

Forty-five thousand square feet delivered to a global firm’s specification, on a consultant-managed programme.

Corporate fit-outs for global firms run on documentation: material submissions, shop drawings, inspection and commissioning records at every stage. Dieline’s role here was as much about process as finish, coordinating with the client and CBRE through a structured programme so that every workstation, partition and electrical circuit was approved, tested and handed over against the firm’s standard.
